Edisher Baghaturia holds a BA in International Relations from Tbilisi State University and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Politics at the same university.

Before becoming a Junior Fellow at CRRC, Edisher was involved in a media monitoring project at Transparency International – Georgia. He has also worked as a researcher/interviewer for the Darmstadt University project “EU Democracy Promotion in South Caucasus and Central Asia.”

Edisher also completed a long-term analyst preparation program at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS).

His fields of interest include foreign policy analysis and security issues. He is also interested in social and cultural geography.
