Report | Food Safety in Georgia

Year: 2010

The report explores consumer knowledge, awareness, demands and purchasing practices with regard to the quality, safety and hygiene of dairy and meat products in Georgia.

The research contains two main components: 1) an analysis of consumer attitudes toward food safety, quality and hygiene; and 2) an analysis of retailers’ attitude toward the same issues.

The Caucasus Research Resource Center–Georgia (CRRC) undertook the study in cooperation with Mercy Corps and GDCI.
