Year: 2024
GEAS entailed a nationwide public opinion survey that was designed to measure the prevalence of discriminatory attitudes and gender-based stereotypes contributing to gender inequality in Georgia.
CRRC-Georgia carried out the survey from January to February 2024. The survey explored public attitudes and social norms on gender equality across ten key areas. Beyond individual beliefs, it also examined how societal expectations shape gender roles – revealing striking gaps between what people personally believe and what they think society expects.
The 2024 Gender Equality Attitudes Study (GEAS) in Georgia was commissioned by UN Women.
