Melor Shengelia earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Currently he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Sociology at the Tbilisi State University.

He has worked on various academic research projects.

His research interests include public policy issues, media and healthcare.
