Project objective: The main objective of the project is to inform future policies on IDPs and displacement in Georgia. The project provides substantive data on which to base a serious discussion both at the policy level and within the broader community on the current situation and future perspectives of the displaced community in Georgia. The focus is on the attitudes and perceptions of IDPs regarding, return, conflict resolution and justice.
Research design: A survey of IDPs displaced from Abkhazia, currently living in collective centers in Georgia. Six focus groups in Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Zugdidi with IDPs displaced from Abkhazia currently living in private accommodation.
Output: Dataset, Tables, Report, Focus Group Report.
