The CRRC Georgia’s first Georgian-language podcast episode is live – Enemy or Ally? Attitudes toward Russian Migrants in Georgia!
This podcast episode focuses on the research of existing attitudes toward Russian migrants who settled in Georgia in 2022, following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. Based on research and publications by CRRC-Georgia researchers Givi Silagadze and Zachary Fabos, we can identify who in Georgia has the most frequent contact with Russian migrants and what potential reasons lie behind the high levels of distrust toward them. Additionally, the podcast analyzes the experiences and sentiments of 1,008 Russian migrants living in Georgia, leading to interesting and unexpected conclusions.
