The new episode of the CRRC Georgia’s Podcast is live – Friend or Foe? Attitudes toward, and among, Russian migrants in Georgia!
This episode explores the mixed reception of Russian migrants who have chosen to settle in Georgia following the onset of the War in Ukraine in 2021. Informed by survey findings and publications by CRRC-Georgia Researchers Givi Silagadze and Zachary Fabos we identify who in Georgia is most likely to have contact with this migrant group while also revealing potential reasons behind the high-levels of distrust toward them. This is paired with analysis of reported experiences and feelings held by 1,008 surveyed Russian migrants living in Georgia, with some unexpected findings.
