What is the Business Omnibus?

The Business Omnibus is a nationwide, quarterly telephone survey (CATI). Its main advantage is cost effectiveness – you do not fund the entire study. Instead, you can purchase space for your questions within thematic modules or as a standalone block and pay only for those specific questions.

The Business Omnibus survey covers all of Georgia, and the results are representative of the entire population. From finalizing the questions to receiving the full analysis, only 15 days are required.

What will businesses receive?

• Consultation during the questionnaire design process;
• Databases containing your purchased questions. The dataset will also include variables such as gender, age, settlement type, income, employment status, and education level (in SPSS, STATA, and XLSX formats);
• Business analytics, where you get detailed demographic breakdowns of responses to your questions and can simultaneously track how consumer purchasing power and economic behavior change from quarter to quarter;
• Analysis of three core modules that help connect consumer behavior to the broader economic picture:
  • Economic Pulse: Measures households’ financial status and spending capacity.
  • Consumer Behavior Experiment: Each wave includes an experiment that reveals cause-and-effect relationships – i.e., factors beyond price that influence consumer choice.
  • Index of Consumer Sentiment (ICS): Based on the University of Michigan model, this index measures overall market optimism or pessimism.
• An Excel file with frequency tables for each purchased question, as well as cross-tabulations by age, gender, education level, employment status, and settlement type;
