Natalie holds a BA in International Relations from Malmö University in Sweden and a MA in Global Political Economy from City University London.
Before becoming a research fellow at CRRC, Natalie worked for the Athens-based think tank, The International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS). She started working on the FP7 project funded by the European Commission while simultaneously working on her thesis in London. She transferred to the ICBSS home office as a research assistant after completing her MA studies in September 2012.
Natalie also worked as a foreign correspondent for The Messenger during 2010-2011. She completed internships at the Council of Europe and the Permanent Representation of Georgia to the Council of Europe, in 2009 and 2010, respectively. Additionally, Natalie worked as a program coordinator for the Foreign Affairs Association at Malmö University and served as an editor of Choix Magazine, a popular student journal, in London. Natalie has experience conducting interviews and analyzing qualitative data.
