Volunteerism for development - promoting volunteerism among Georgian students

Project objective:
The project aims to support public policy on volunteerism and formation of the volunteerism culture through awareness-raising and promotion of volunteerism. Policy paper was written based on qualitative research conducted for the project. The topic and recommendations based on research results will be discussed with representatives of governmental and non-governmental structures.
Research design:
Qualitative research consisted of focus groups with students of high education institutions in five cities of Georgia: Tbilisi, Zugdidi, Batumi, Kutaisi and Gori; and qualitative interviews with representatives of governmental, local and international non-governmental organizations in Georgia.
Output: policy paper.
