The Contract Manager manages the legal and financial execution of research projects. Coordinating within EPF and CRRC, the Contract Manager also manages external contractual relationships, and safeguards capacity, quality and cost.

Qualifications:

A candidate for the position of Contract Manager should possess at least a BS/BA degree in a relevant field such as business, economics, finance or law. In exceptional cases, individuals with other qualifications and relevant work experience can be considered. Excellent oral and written English, as well as local language skills (either Azerbaijani, Armenian, Georgian, or Russian) are required.

Tasks:

**    Processes all contracts and translates them into project schedules with precise execution of volumes and dates
**    Monitors all ongoing contracts and projects
**    Maintains a steady flow of information to management at all relevant levels
**    Manages competitive bidding, selection, awards and technical implementation. This includes, but is not limited to, activities such as:

-    researching vendors and identifying a candidate pool
-    assessing the submissions on various dimensions 
-    selecting bidders for further commercial/financial negotiations 
-    assisting in the negotiation of contracts 
-    negotiating the pricing and payment schedule, ensuring that the agreement with the vendors/donors are commercially advantageous arrangements

**    Contributes, generally, to project coordination and execution
**    Contributes to future research project planning and lessons learned exercises 
**    Generates relevant documentation for reporting and close out.
