Call for Presenters for the Tbilisi Works-in-Progress Series | Fall 2017
CRRC Georgia, American Councils and ARISC invite local and visiting scholars to present their ongoing research projects as part of the Tbilisi Works-in-Progress Series (WiP). WiP is an ongoing academic discussion series based in Tbilisi, Georgia, that takes place at CRRC Georgia office, and is co-organized by CRRC Georgia, American Councils for International Education: ACTR/ACCELS, and the American Research Institute of the South Caucasus (ARISC).

All of the talks are free and open to the public. The purpose of the WiP series is to provide support and productive criticism to those researching and developing academic projects pertaining to the Caucasus region or Eurasia more broadly. It is an informal platform that gives an opportunity to local or international researches to present their ongoing research or projects and receive feedback from the audience.

Date and Time: Every Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM

Venue: CRRC Office, 1 Chkhikvadze St.

Interested candidates may submit their CV and a brief abstract/description of their project throughout the year to the following e-mail address: nstavridi@epfound.ge

The candidates are encouraged to indicate a potential date or dates when they will be available to present. The abstracts will be reviewed by the WiP programming committee.

The schedule is often planned far in advance (especially for the summer period), so therefore interested candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
