Caucasus Barometer 2015 has started

CRRC started a new wave of the "Caucasus Barometer" in Georgia and Armenia. The survey reflects the socio-economic conditions of households living in Georgia and Armenia and exposes issues like trust in state institutions, attitude towards foreigners, visa liberalization and public opinion polls.

Just before the fieldwork, between October 12 and 15, CRRC-Georgia staff members together with eight regional supervisors conducted training sessions for interviewers from Tbilisi, Kakheti, Imereti, Ajara, Samegrelo, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Shida Kartli and Kvemo Kartli. Interviewers already started the fieldwork in Georgia, which will continue until the end of October. CRRC-Georgia expects to interview over 2 300 respondents. Moreover, CRRC-Armenia will use the same survey instrument to carry out the survey in Armenia, where about 1800 interviews will be conducted.
